Enter to Win FREE copy of Legacy (Anna Strong series) by Jeanne Stein / Patricia’s Vampire Notes Blog & Learn “What is Urban Fantasy”

Crazy Day:

Today is a busy day. I’m interviewing Charla Muller, author of 365 Nights: A Memoir of Intimacy and later I’ve been asked to be a guest on Mel Robbins, Make It Happen radio show at 2:30 pm ~ Come listen in! I can’t even tell you how appreciative I am of this opportunity.

What does that mean for you? Well, though I have picked the book winner names, I won’t have them to you bright and early this morning…I’ll do my best to post an announcement by the end of the day/early tomorrow morning.

In the meantime . . .

SteinCheck out Patricia Altner’s post on Urban Fantasy (‘UF’).  Jeanne provides a great description, if you ever wondered, “What the heck is the urban fantasy genre, anyway?” and offers you a chance to win a free copy of Jeanne Stein’s latest release, Legacy.

Jeanne writes:

UF appeals to a wide audience. More than any other genre, mystery, romance and fantasy combine to attract readers in a unique way. UF crosses genre boundaries. I’ve had many people tell me, for instance, that they usually don’t read “vampire books.” They like mine because there’s always a mystery to be solved as well as a world that they recognize—today’s world—with the twist that there are otherworldly creatures walking amongst us. Creatures who have integrated into society, hold down real jobs, might even be a neighbor, your child’s teacher or San Diego’s Chief of Police. The paranormal is the glue that binds the mix.

Don’t forget about the Hatchette Books Back-To-School Bonanza contest—before you know it, it’ll be too late to enter, so…leave a comment below that blog post or call 206–309–7318 and leave a voice mail message I can play on-air.
