My wife, 4 kids and I have been deeply affected by these economic conditions. I’ve been following your publishing for the past 6 years reading “first break all the rules” and “now discover your strengths” in 2002. I’m currently listening to “your child’s strengths”. I feel like I know you after your appearances on “Oprah” the “leadership blog” and other web video’s. Unfortunately, I’ve been out of work twice in the last 18 months and taken jobs that don’t play to my strengths and I’ve leveraged my developed skills. If you’d find it in your heart to send me a complementary copy of “The Truth about you” I really believe it could help me in these difficult economic/holiday times.
thanks,
Foris

Comment by Bethany on 2 January 2009:
I’d love to win this book! I’ve been in an agony of indecision and transition about my true “work” and where to put my gifts and talents in the workplace. I’ve had three distinct careers since graduating university which were fine for me at the time but at 56 I really want the next work direction I take to be my best contribution. I think this book is a huge part of the answer to my searching.

I saw Marcus via satellite through the Willow Creek Leadership Summit in 2007 and was BLOWN AWAY. My 25-year-old son, who has many issues regarding getting himself together to get a job and get past personal issues, watched a 2004 presentation by Marcus at the Leadership Summit, and was totally impressed. Now I just need to find a way to get him moving, and am going to order a copy of this package!
Comment by Judy Bradley on 20 January 2009:
Please enter me into the drawing. This sounds like a motivating book!
Comment by Fred on 21 January 2009:
I was able to attend a seminar by Marcus Buckingham at a leadership conference sponsored by my company last week. I was very impressed, read First, Break All the Rules and would love to read The Truth About You.
Comment by Karen Rodrigues on 5 August 2009:
I am a big fan of articles and columns (published in the Harvard Business Review) written by Marcus Buckingham. They have provided me with huge insights during my Masters programme in Business Administration and throughout my HR career till date. His outlook on management and HR are ground breaking and refreshing. I am sure his new book “The Truth about you”, like his other writings, will continue to amaze millions! I would love to own a copy
